As numerous changes brought upon a disruption era, new methods towards developing employee work performance is needed in order to increase a company's competitive advantage. As such, many previous researches has hinted the positive effect of human capital development and other factors of human capital development towards increasing employee work performance. This research aims to determine the effects of human capital development towards employee work performance and other variables which have factors of human capital, which are transformational leadership and organizational commitment as well as their individual effects towards employee work performance. Data used are primary data which are collected through quantitative methods with the means of distributing questionnaires using structural equation model (SEM) to test the hypotheses that human capital development has significant effects towards employee work performance with the mediating effects of transformational leadership and organizational commitment. Results of this study might potentially be an academic guide for academic institutions and towards human capital development for human resources management to benefit from and function as a foundation in creating a human capital development policy in a company.
