Financial technology is defined as an industry made up of companies that use technology to make the financial system and the delivery of financial services more efficient. Fintech is developing rapidly and is transforming the banking business sector into a more innovative one. The rising public satisfaction with mobile fintech will influence public demand for mobile fintech usage. Intention to use is also the state that enables an individual, in the form of thoughts or feelings, to perform actions based on themselves. The purpose of the study focuses on analyzing and explaining the factors that influence intention to use fintech in Indonesia form the perspective of UTAUT2 theory combining with moderating factor hedonic motivation. A research model proposed considering the use knowledge of the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use (UTAUT2), including factors such as financial service characteristics, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, price and value of mobile fintech on the intention of use mobile fintech through behavioral intention moderated by hedonic motives. The sample was flip application users based in the Jabodetabek region and data was collected from 100 respondents. Quantitative method is the survey method and analyse data using partial least squares modelling Smart PLS3. As a result, seven hypotheses were accepted, meanwhile performance expectancy has insignificant effect on behavior intention and intention to use mobile fintech, effort expectancy and social influence also has insignificant effect on intention to use mobile fintech and hedonic motivation as moderating variable can strengthen the positive effect of behavioral intention on intention to use mobile fintech. The practical implications apply to fintech firms and government controls for the implementation of financial technology services, and future researchers.
