This new annual investment publication series entitled "Facts and Figures : Cost of Investing and Doing Business in ASEAN" is part of this effort. Facts and Figures is undertaken as a project, under the auspices of the ASEAN Investment Area Council, to support the AIA process. It contains information on macroeconomic indicators and transportation, telecommunication, utility, rental and operational costs, including wages and salaries. It also provides detailed information on expatriates' living costs, land and housing costs, factory and office leases, incentives, industrial estates and taxation matters.



Facts and Figures is a valuable reference document for investors, business people, investment practitioners, consultancy firms, policy makers, and the general public.
