Indonesia as one of the country in the Asia Pacific region had developed itself into one attractive market for a wide range of industries in the last couple of decades with its rapid growth and development in its economy and all its infrastructures that is sustains and supports a population of over than 228 million and that has a growth rate of 1.6%. This can be seen as huge potential market that can be catered.

There has been abundant of new products with its capitalizing brands, from both foreign and local producers, pouring to the market place in the hope to capture profits from the existing sizeable market shares. Although the recent economic crisis in the late 1990s had hit and crushed the economy, Indonesia are now coming out with a better prospect in the future with a better "welcome mattress" for the country where all attentions are geared towards reshaping the new economy, and there are many industries with its many brands of products and services that have prospered.

Opportunities in Agricultural, Food and Beverages, and Retail industries or businesses may offer long-term competitive benefits to early movers who are interested to establish their market" especially in the Food and Beverage sector. Indonesia with the buying power of over 228 mil- lion people in the Asia Pacific region has potential to be a place of investment destination, for which it has become an opportunity that is seen from both local and foreign players.
