The present paper is merely comparing, explaining, and analyzing previous distribution approach versus current approach in PT British American Tobacco Indonesia. The previous distribution approach was basically emphasizing on regional/area division in which later was found inefficient in terms of time allocation, manpower, and fleet when calls/outlet visits had to be made. While the current distribution practice is based on channel and frequency on call or outlet visits with some its consequences in the implementation.
