Purpose of CIC On-Line Business
CIC On-line's goal is to become as a gateway to Indonesia Business Community, which enable business players who are interested in doing business in Indonesia to start, expand, sell or buy business. And also it will focus on vertical industry. CIC on-line is objected to strengthen CIC
position as business information provider by integrating off-line business (database, the current infrastructure and the power of internet) to satisfy the customer's needs.
Background: Explosive growth of Internet market
The Internet and the World Wide Web have become the platform for electronic business. The number of Internet users is growing rapidly, and many companies are considering how they can best take advantage of this new channel. Its interactivity and multimedia potential make the Web an ideal publicity and sales tool. Information can be updated quickly and easily, and disseminated cost effectively, and CIC on-line can also gather information on customer preferences.
Problem: Reliable information hard to find
The number of commercial and private homepages on the Internet and the available information are growing explosively. However, locating specific information to start developing new business in Indonesia is very difficult and time consuming, and the requirement for the reliability of the information itself is increased.
Product: Bundled and organized presentation of business information
CIC On-line is both an interactive WWW index and a commercial platform for small and medium-sized business. It provides data banks that can be accessed by financial institution, legal advisor,business travel services, investors. This service extends from listing contact address to setting up complete interactive transaction, auction and tete-conference.
Company and management: Experienced and motivated team
CIC On-line as a company concentrates on marketing and sales of Internet services and delivering customer satisfaction by deploying Customer Relationship Management. The management team is
made up of four people with outstanding qualification and extensive experience. The team has excellent knowledge in marketing and sales and comprehensive financial and technological expertise, supporting by several sales people.
Business system
CIC On-line will concentrate on its infomediary business proposition as its core business. In order to focus more on retaining and attracting customer and to maximize the investment, the ITdevelopment will be outsourced through strategic alliances. Marketing will more focus on brand building and sales will be on getting customers and retain it.
Financing
The growth forecast suggests that in the year three CIC on-line will achieve sales of some Rp 12 billion, with a net profit of 3 % of sales. Thereby, CIC on-line will have some subsidiaries that generate income to the parent company.
