In October 2004 The Indonesia Government release a Government Regulation No. 36 2004 with subject: The Downstream Business Activities in Oil and Gas. This regulation has terminated the monopoly of Pertamina in LPG supply in Indonesia market. This regulation opens opportunities for new players to have their own brands and products to fulfill Indonesia market demand. Jaya Gas as a main player in LPG market in Indonesia wants to capture this opportunity and have it's own LPG product and brand. This strategic step will hypothetically give higher profit margin to the company compared to the regulatory limited profit margin the existing Pertamina's LPG.

This project will study the business plan for Jaya Gas to release its new owned brand of bottled LPG. It will research the market size, research the investment cost, operation cost and revenue projection and the financial feasibility study of the new business.

The objective is to undergo a thorough study to provide a feasibility study and comprehensive business plan for Jaya Gas to release this new business.
