This IPMI Group Field Project (GFP), consisting of a team of four persons, prepared the following report for presentation to the management of PT. Bank Duta. Our GFP started in March 1988 and was based on a Term Of Reference that had been agreed upon by the management of PT. Bank Duta.



The specific tasks assigned to the group were the following:

1. To analyze, evaluate and prepare recommendations and justification for an improvement of the marketing justification for an improvement of the marketing strategies to achieve desire positioning of Bank Duta Consumer Banking.

2. To analyze, evaluate and prepare a recommendation of ptential sites in Jakarta for new Bank Duta branches.

3. To submit the above items in a final written report.



During the period March to July , 1988, we conducted a survey on consumer banking attitudes Jakarta, and visited Bank Duta's main and branch offices, some private national banks, some foreign banks, and other institutions that had dealings with the banking industry in Jakarta.
