This report is a closer look to how an organization-in this context, Bank Indonesia-can cope with the greatest challenge faced by the modem world: Data Overload. It is undeniable that a central bank must filter tons of data to turn them into useful resources that can help the top decision makers within the organization to produce the most suitable set of policies that address current issues while anticipating
future occurrences. A problem has been identified within the governing council meeting (RDG) as the highest decision-making forum that determines BI's strategic and principal policies. The congregation "has been found to be ineffective due to several reasons; particularly the material preparation that often does not comply with the regulated four-day mark as a submission deadline. This further aggravates the dreaded potential of topics being either postponed or even discarded. In tackling this issue, the writer would attempt to use the perspective of Management Information System (MIS), hence the main focus of this writing is to recommend yet the most suitable system to be placed within the top tier so that the governors and their deputies may have the best tool in their hands to ensure proper and quality materials. A system to be studied here will mainly come as a complement to the proposed alteration of the business processes leading up the governing council meeting where the governors make their calls on the best policies yet.
