PT. Rindra Bara Utama is a new established coal mine company, a member of Indo Mines group Australian company. Begin its operations on mid April 2010 with short term goal "targeting its production to 20,000 metric tons pe} month", in a long tenn its target is" to be the big player at coal industry". To achieve these targets they need to have a group of capable people to run the company.

People are likely as lifeblood in organizations. Organization needs the qualified people in order to operate efficiently to get success. To have qualified people company need a proper human resource system and procedures including recruitment, induction and training system.

In the survey we found PT .Rindra does not have a proper recruitment, selection and induction system in place, they need to create a new systems in regards to ha,){e great and qualified people in the organization. In our study we learn about organization vision, mission, challenges in recruiting people especially the characteristic of the company which operation held at site area, Binuang Kalimantan Selatan. Not many workers interested working in this kind of area because the location is far from the town.

Interview session was held with the management of PT. Rindra to collect the information needed. Some study methods had examined to fonn a proper recruitment system. The analysis of making the conclusion and recommendation to this company is based on the information gather from interview session and some other data collected. Our recommendation provides the company an option of recruitment system, orientation system and induction system. At last the best recruitment system to adopt is depends on the company needs and condition.
