Two tapes provide the edited highlights of an on-campus historic conference at the Harvard Business School. The conference topic was the history of applied organizational study at Harvard. Roughly 100 academics spanning four generations and eight schools and departments from around Harvard University met to explore their common heritage and their points of divergence. The conference took place in the spring of 1982. Five sessions with panelists representing each era are featured.
