Members of the Laboratory and Medical Products (LMP) group of OTI's Order Administration function have been organized into a semi-autonomous work group. In this videotape, the members themselves discuss a number of factors, including supervisory attitudes, selection, appraisals, and rewards (particularly intrinsic rewards), that have allowed the group to function. The experience related by LMP members can be compared with those related by members of a less successful semi-autonomous work group (Office Technology, Inc.: Members of the OEM Group).
