PT Tanah Bintang Asli is a company that serves in the sports service industry. The company has been established since 2013. Its golf, basketball and swimming academics continue to serve its niche market in international schools in the form of afterschool activities. While student count and sales continue to increase since its establishment the company struggle to gain significant growth (early stage of growth stage in Business Life Cycle). This research objective is to provide strategic formulation proposal to increase sales in Jakarta for the rest of 2017.
This research uses External Factor Evaluation (EFF) Matrix, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix, Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM) as variables, The Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) Matrix, as strategy formulation tools, and the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) as the decision tools that researchers used in this GFP. From this analysis, researchers found that PT Tanah Bintang Asli is capable of increasing its sales through Product Development Strategy. This strategy will enable PT Tanah Bintang Asli to utilize its internal strength to take advantage of external opportunities. Thus, researchers recommend PT Tanah Bintang Asli to implement strategy of "Added value through technology & curriculum improvement" to gain more customer and increase their sales. We are also recommending for the company to use this research method for the future uses to formulate strategy for various purpose of growing the company
