The project is part of AIESEC in IPMI‟s program, which is Incoming Global Volunteer, that aims to develop community. The purpose of this project is to incorporate non-formal education programs for children in RPTRA Pola Idaman. Open public spaces such as RPTRA are usually perceived as a place for children to play, while actually it could be utilized for children's non-formal education. When identifying problems, the writers use qualitative analysis, which includes observation and interview. The writers, who are also members of AIESEC in IPMI, commitee, and local volunteers for the project, organized funand educational programs for the children. The programs implemented are funenglish, culture festival, reading book together, and drama performance. The writers are able to set up these programs based on the problems that occured at RPTRA Pola Idaman, which are lack of self-esteem, lack of interest in reading books, and lack of courage to speak English. Developing the children‟s soft skills and character building are the main focus of this project. Through these programs, the children are no longer shy and are able to mingle with the opposite gender. Moreover, the children are eager to read more books and have courage to speak English. They have shown their parents that they are confident in the drama performance. In conclusion, the programs need to be sustainable and receive support from government, society, and educational institutions in order to make a greater impact to the children.
