Statistical Yearbook of indonesia is a comprehensive publication, published by BPS-Statistics Indonesia annually. This publication presents collection of data from various fields with descriptive analysis and technical notes for each sector. This is a bilingual publication, presented in Indonesian language and in English. The publication is aimed at providing general picture of geographic and climate, socio-economic characteristics of the population as well as social and economic conditions of Indonesia.



The 2000 Statistical Yearbook of Indonesia, which is a continuation of previous publications presents the most current information, with most of tables present the 2000 data. Where the current data are not yet available from the usual sources, BPS-Statistics Indonesia substitutes them with estimated data derived from related documents or from its won time series data.



The release of this comprehensive report has been made possible, due to the assistance and contributions of various government institutions and private organizations.
