Statistics of Foreign Direct Investment in ASEAN is an outcome of the ASEAN's work on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) statistics and it was first released last year. It offers a wide coverage of statistics of FDI to and within ASEAN. It presents data on FDI flow and stock from major capital exporting countries' to ASEAN from sources compiled from these countries. FDI data from the ASEAN sources provide data coverage, which include country of origin and industrial distribution, based on balance of payments and administrative FDI statistics.



It is hoped that investors, business people, policy-makers and other interested parties will find this annual FDI statistical publication useful and informative in presenting the development of FDI in the region.
