PT.ALLTRAK 1978

PT.ALLTRAK 1978 (PTA) was found in 1978,the year when the present owner acquired the Company from its previous owner.

The year 1978 then put behind the company name as a symbol of new management and keep using the ALLTRAK name to maintain their existing relationship with the customer.

From the beginning PTA is involve in trading of Heavy equipment machineries, ALLTRAK itself stands for ALLIS TRACTORS one of the heavy equipment with the "ALLIS" brand was once very popular and made in USA.

"ALLIS" tractors then become "ALLIS CHALMERS" tractors and when "FIAT" acquired the company the tractors name become FIAT-ALLIS the product that represented by PTA up to the Year 1992. Heavy Equipment business in Indonesia going up and down depends on macroeconomic condition of the country.

PTA in the beginning only represent Heavy equipment for construction, purposes such as: Wheel loader ,Bull Dozer ,Motor Grader etc ,this business heavily dependent on Logging and Infrastructure development and other high capital investment ;when oil price going down and logging business also down and government postponed many projects almost all Heavy Equipment company in Indonesia including PTA was in deep trouble.

Having such an Experience, PTA then began to get other machinery distributionship that' has different market segment from Construction Equipment.
