Group Field Project (GFP) is part of IPMI's curriculum that each IPMI students have to complete before graduation. GFP offers the students the opportunity to practice the concepts and lessons learnt in class by assisting a company in formulating of their strategy or suggesting resolution of strategic issues deemed important by management. -

The objective is to balance students' academic skills and experiences gained from case study discussion and those expected to be obtained from real business situations. Through the GFP, students can realize their capability to deal with real business problems/projects of the sponsoring company and by using problem solving approach that requires application of analytical tools and creativity to reach such appropriate business decisions.

The main objectives of this GFP can be summarized into the following points:

1. To review EDII's existing strategic plan and validate the strategic plan based on future/expected competition.

2. To recommend and develop alternative strategy on customs clearance business portfolio.

3. To recommend and develop relevant service diversification strategy for non customs clearance business portfolio (non traditional customers).
