The subject of the GFP is an analysis of the feasibility of the music phone project with the objective to create additional CDMA competitive advantage via 3G-based music service, to promote the adoption of integrated compressed audio player CDMA handset by the introduction of addiotional value in the existing voice and SMS handset, and to promote the adoption of 3G wireless multimedia which are competitive positioning of 3G1X service and improved services via 1XEVDO more efficient data transport.

It will analyze whether the music phone download would be feasible in Indonesia growing market by doing market analysis through market acceptance research and review, market sizing research and analysis and demand forecasting. Meanwhile the financial analysis also be done to prove the feasibility of the project financially.

The study was conducted with the support of Qualcom as a leader in developing and delivering innovative wireless communication products and servces based on the Company's Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital technology.

By having the understanding of the Music Phone Project feasibility, Qualcomm would like to work with the CDMA carriers, developers and potential partners to jointly identify the opportunity and develop an implementation plan.
