Electronic City is an electronic retail company, which is established on 11th November 2001, is a leader in modem electronic retail in Indonesia.

As their strategy, Electronic City decided to use exhibition concept in their stores. This concept is proposed to make the customer feel convenience in the store, to make them easy to find their need and get good service. This is also a new concept for the industry at the first time they launched it and also differentiating the store to other electronic retails.

In term of target market, Electronic City focused on middle to high level segment. This strategy is translated to their design to display goods at their stores, store location they choose, additional facility they serve to customer like parking lot and warranty to the product, excellent service and also some marketing programs.

In order to grab the market and broaden their business, Electronic City always seeking potential and strategic places to build new store. In 2007 Electronic City already have 8 stores around Jakarta and one in Bali.

Electronic City also always improves their strategy in order to grab the market and also to increase their brand awareness. In 2006 Electronic City launch new slogan: The Smart and Modem Way of Shopping.

The slogan shows Electronic City strategy and commitment to customer. Electronic City wants to sharpen the concept of 'one stop shopping for electronic goods' which has best and wide range of collection and also give excellent service in term of easy payment, product insurance and also convenient store.
