Cement is a strategic commodity to Indonesia. cement industry is a very promising industry because of its continuity. However, not many new companies attracted to going into the industry because the industry itself needs a big amount of capital and advance in technology. That's why cement industry in Indonesia is dominated by only little numbers of cement manucaturing company such as Semen Gresik Group, Holcim, Indocement, etc.

PT. Semen Sukabumi Industri is one of the companies that see growth of cement's need as a great opportunity for business purpose. Since it's established in 2003, the company sees that national demand growth will be increasing at least for the next 20 years. However, as a new brand that will enter the industry, Semen Jawa have to fight to penetrate the market, which already dominated by companies that mostly already exist for years. Therefore, strategy becomes an important subject in order to bring the company to achieve its objectives with the most efficient way.
