The Community Involvement Project (CIP) in the marketing division started with the goal to promote our herbs beverages, which we called Racikoe. We realized our country has so much herbs plants, which have not been explored yet for our health, and either the possibility of business that we can make through herbs beverages. Getting people know and hear about Racikoe, also attract their attention to be aware of Racikoe, these are our goal of this project.
It started with the lack of knowledge problem of herbs plants and beverages from our citizen. Social media is the connection that we have to communicate and promote Racikoe to the public. Twitter, Blog, Instagram, and also Youtube, are the media that we chose. Although social media has a lot of advantages, it also has the risk that we should be ready to face and avoid. To sum up, the social media that we are using still cannot make people want to try the herbs beverage, but through it we at least took their attention about the existence of our product which is Racikoe.
Due working on this project, time was really the main thing that matter the most, besides the unavailability time of our supervisor. It took only 3 months, starting from July until September 2013. We hope there will be more people know about Racikoe and takes Racikoe as their healthy drinks.
