The writers (Chris Paulus, Dimas Raditya, Nitya Arfella, and Ivi Suryana Junior) are BBA students who intends to finish the final project in IPMI International Business School called Group Field Project. The research revolves around the development of Employee – Relation Programs based on the Relationships between Job Satisfaction, Teachers Performance and overall Effective Organization at Al-izhar Senior High School. In Indonesia, private schools are stirring up the market based on the Kemdikbud (Kemdikbud, 2011-2016). Indonesian parents have become more demanding in regards to their children’s education and many have high hopes for language development, soft skill or leadership development. Nowadays, character building is not enough for private school to compete with each other. They also need to replicate curriculums from well-known schools that are located abroad that emphasizes second skills.
In an interview with Mrs. Reiny Arifin, a member of the Yayasan Anakku Foundation and the shareholder of Al-Izhar, as well as Mrs. Kamelia, the counseling teacher of Al-Izhar, a statement was made implying that the high school teachers in Al-Izhar are receiving less recreational rights and experiencing a decreasing satisfaction. Through the interview, the writers took analyzed and its correlation to the state of being in Al-Izhar’s teaching staff regards Herzberg’s Hygiene/Motivation theory & Rensis Likert’s Effective Organization theory.
The writers conducted a quantitative research to analyze the correlation between job satisfaction, teacher’s performance and effective organization variables. For teacher’s performance measurement, Al-Izhar uses the measurement based on Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia no. 14 Article 8 year 2005. There are four components: pedagogic competence, individual competence, social competence, and professional competence. To focus on this research, the writers uses only two components, which are, the social and individual competence as the concentration of the GFP is on organizational behavior.
